Imagine if you will a pile of things you love, need or think you need. Now for an instance pretend you are thinking about getting rid of some of these fine things. For instance the sweater hanging in the back of your closet collecting dust. You haven’t worn it in a while but you can recall the exact time when you wore it last. “Why is it still there?” You wonder. Because you love it, and if you throw it away it will take the memory with it. Not true.
Cities in the United States are pretty standard. You always have a Main Street, or a Martin Luther King Jr Drive. In each city there is also something very unique and special. For instance San Francisco has their sourdough bread, Chicago their deep dish pizza, and New York, well they have just about anything. Last week I went to the magical wonder that is Seattle. Upon first sight the city is nestled around trees, mountains and water. The sound has water that is so blue you wonder if there is anything more blue. Unlike most port cities or coastal cities I have visited in the past, Seattle doesn’t smell like…
Imagine if you will for one moment a spot in the world that is not like anything you have ever seen in real life. Street vendors line the streets sharing foods they grew up on. The air is thick with pickling fragrances and grilling meats. Mixed in with a savory sweet smell that can only come from something made with sugar. I know you can find street foods practically anywhere, but that doesn’t mean they are any less special. Now, for another moment wonder where on earth this could be. Well, quite literally this could be anywhere in Europe. But in my mind right now, I am talking about Warsaw,…
What do you do for a girl who just finished a program that was both challenging and rewarding? Well, you take her on a road trip. Well, technically you would take her to Europe, but since that is a small fortune this time of year, you take her to another country more within her reach. And since she really wants to go to Vancouver, well then you take the girl to Canada.
This time last year I was getting ready to visit San Fransisco. I was excited about this trip only because I was finally completing the last process of my second citizenship. However, the light heartedness of this trip didn’t last long. I was pulled and I was pushed into situations that were beyond my control. I was tested, I was pressed on harder then I think was necessary. I also realized in those passing months that my anxiety was not gone, it had been dormant. I also noticed that I was still having my ups and downs in moods. I recognized the the dark feelings, and the indecisiveness.

Let’s face it, working out is mean. Personally I love working out, I just have issues getting started. However, once I am started I am “strong like bull”! Ha just some funny humor from “Something about Mary.” (Google it) I don’t mind sweating or being sore as all get out. Nor do I mind being unable to move. When my abs are sore from a particularly grueling ab work out I smile as I take a painful diaphragm breath. Wait, what? I know what you’re thinking, “Christina you are supposed to motivate me into working out, not remind me of all the horrific things.” Well, my friends I am doing that, keep up!
When I first started blogging I did a lot of research on social media. Now, I am going to admit something really horrible right now, I bleeping HATE social media. Why? I don’t know. I find it hard to talk about myself or update my status of the day. I honestly think that no one really cares about what I am doing at whatever o’clock. I personally wouldn’t want to see a picture or status update of me telling you all that currently, at whatever time, I am picking my nose.
In case you are not on the diet bandwagon or have never heard of Keto, let me tell you all about it. The keto diet is actually the Ketogenic diet. This is a low low carb, high fat diet. However, this is not Atkins. What makes it different is this diet focuses on getting the body to produce ketones in the liver to be used as energie. Thus the ketogenic diet or keto for short.
I love music, as you can tell from previous posts. This weekend while cleaning out some well grown dust from winter, I had Alexia play a playlist I had forgotten all about. This little play list had many of my favorites from the 90s! Sadly, this list will not have Linkin Park, I know I know, WHAT?! Since they are more of early 00’s they are not on this list. But hold tight, cause you will not be disappointing.
